Applying to Purdue University

Purdue offers applicants two rounds of admissions: Early Action (due November 1st) and Regular Decision (due January 15th). The Early Action and Regular rounds are non-restrictive and non-binding, meaning students can apply to as many additional schools as they’d like. As part of their Early Action plan, Purdue has a priority application deadline for these popular majors: biomedical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, engineering, professional flight technology, mechanical engineering, motorsports engineering, nursing, and veterinary nursing, meaning they only accept applications after the November 1st Early Action deadline if space allows. Purdue has a “test expected” approach so they “expect” that students have taken the SAT and/or ACT and will have their scores sent from the testing agency.
