Transfer essays require a specific, school-by-school approach. We help you develop essays that explain why you are seeking to transfer, what you have accomplished so far, and why each school is the right next step.
Expert Consulting and Editing
Delivered over Zoom, phone, and email, including but not limited to:
- Letters of Recommendation: identifying the faculty members best positioned to advocate for you, and how to approach those conversations.
- Test Scores: deciding whether to submit scores, retake exams, or go test-optional.
- College Course Selection: choosing courses that align with transfer requirements and strengthen your transcript.
- Experience List and Resume: How to best present your college activities and achievements to reinforce your overall application narrative.
- Interview Preparation: preparing you to speak with confidence about why you are leaving, what you are looking for, and why this school is the right fit.
- Final Application Review: a thorough proofread and check of every component for accuracy, consistency, and polish.
Program must be used within six months of purchase. We believe students should remain the authors and owners of their applications, so Top Tier Admissions never logs into or submits materials through a student’s application account.

Transfer Analysis & Guidance is a comprehensive program that begins with a personalized Transfer Report, then provides strategic guidance on every major aspect of the application—from school selection and positioning to select essays and final review.
When should I start?
The earlier, the better. Transfer applications often require school research, academic planning, and school-specific essays, so we recommend beginning several months before your intended application deadlines. That said, students come to us at many different stages, and we’ll tailor our guidance to where you are in the process.
Do you work with community college transfers?
Absolutely. We regularly support students transferring from community colleges as well as four-year institutions. Your counselor will build a strategy that reflects your academic journey, transfer goals, and the colleges you’re considering.
What if I am not certain I want to transfer?
That’s a perfectly reasonable place to start. Transfer Analysis & Guidance begins with a conversation about your goals, your current college experience, and whether transferring is the right next step. Sometimes the answer is to apply. Sometimes it’s to make the most of where you are. Our role is to help you make the decision that’s right for you.
How long do I have to use the program?
Your program is available for six months from the date of purchase, providing most students with ample time to complete the transfer process on a timeline that aligns with their application goals.
