My Common App essay was not very strong before working with Top Tier and I apparently had no clue how to write supplementary essays! As for the Common App, I unknowingly filled out many sections incorrectly within the info portions. E was always very kind, prompt, and informative with her assistance in helping me figure everything out. I probably asked her over a hundred questions and she had insightful answers for all of them. The TTA staff really knows what they’re doing and knows a lot about the admissions process, individual schools, and what colleges look for. Also, since I did not give myself a lot of time to complete everything, the quick response time to my questions was such a relief. Thank you!

T received a letter for those who’d been accepted to Harvard. At the end of it, a handwritten paragraph was added by the individual who was T’s reader and who then presented her to the entire committee. She commented on how she saw T’s interest in art history throughout all aspects of her application and how impressive it was how everything tied together. We immediately looked at one another and said, “That was Top Tier!” Bottom line – hats off to your team! I can’t imagine where we would be without you!

The past 3+ months have been a whirlwind filled with anxiety, speculation, and even some soul-searching moments. Then, E received a Dartmouth interview (regular round) which was an indication to us that something in her application had piqued their interest! We knew her application was strong (thanks to you!), yet we had no quantitative evidence to back it. The application review feedback meeting with you and E’s subsequent sessions with R made us aware of just how much we didn’t know. After her initial Ivy deferral, it felt like the process was stacked against us. We are beyond excited to share that she was accepted to Dartmouth in the RD round and to other top institutions like UVA and Bowdoin!Your collective work with E during the holidays to help position her was invaluable. Your deep insights into how admission officers think was reflected in the eloquent essays E wrote and we feel this made all the difference. You were there to answer E’s questions even after the submission process – thank you!
