Colleges With Late Deadlines

It’s been another early application round with a record number of applications. New York University was smashed with about 75,000 applications, 12 percent more than last year. More students than ever before – roughly 11,000 – filed Early Decision applications with NYU. Northwestern received about 6 percent more Early Decision applications than last year, a record number of 4,058 applications. Early applicants will fill about half of the Class of 2022, which is expected to total 1,925 students. Dartmouth’s Class of 2022 early decision applications soared to 13.5 percent over last year’s record pool, reaching an all-time high of 2,270 applications. This marks the first time the College has received more than 2,000 early applications. 565 students were accepted, for an acceptance rate of 24.9 percent, the lowest since 2010.
