It provides grants for students, scholars, and professionals to study, research, and teach across more than 140 countries, fostering mutual understanding between nations.
I was honored to be a Fulbright Award recipient in 2017-18 during my PhD program, which took me to Sweden and facilitated eleven months of meaningful doctoral research while connecting with scholars worldwide (a highlight was attending the Nobel Prize Ceremony in Stockholm!). It remains a pivotal moment in both my academic career and personal development and I remain incredibly grateful for the support of the Fulbright Commission in Sweden as well as the fellowship advising I received during the application process.
