We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again, having a wise early decision (ED) strategy is KEY and affords students, with few exceptions, the best possible admissions odds.
DATA SPEAKS
In college admissions, data is king in a variety of ways, none more so than early round admissions statistics. These high percentage admit rates speak quite clearly to the importance of having a strong ED strategy backed by an Early Decision II school (binding) and rounded out with plenty of Early Action (non-binding) schools of interest. For the Class of 2025, almost 50% of UPenn’s, Dartmouth’s, Duke’s and Columbia’s spots were filled in the early round. For Brown and Georgetown, the early round admit rates were over 50%!
